—Kings of Leon, tonight at MSG! Sammy D got me the tickets as a Christmas present. Psyched x 10. I decided this is our band because: 1. All the songs, on the new album at least, seem to be about jilted love/unrealized love/never happened love. 2. The dude’s voice is kinda sad/whiny. And who doesn’t like that? 3. I’m convinced “Sex on Fire” is about getting an STD. And though that’s not something Sammy D or I promote, it’s funny, none-the-less.
