What is Wail Mail? Where Erin E and Sammy D write to their [insert issue here] and address it forthright, without covering up what they are actually talking about. Also known as: expressing themselves honestly.
What Do You “Wail” About? The “thing” they wail to is the reason for their problem.
Rather than “wail” to being “busy,” they wail to their bosses for giving them too much work to do. They address the reason for the problem head on, not the feeling or action behind the problem. So, if you were late to work today, you wouldn’t “wail” to lateness. You’d wail to the freakin’ train for making you late. Think of it as addressing the noun, and not the verb.
Why Do You Wail? We wail because we have to. Because if Erin E and Sammy D have learned anything in their 23 or so odd years of life; it’s that communication is key. Communication to others, to yourself, and most importantly, to your grievances.
What Are the Benefits of Wailing? Because so many other outlets of expression tell you not to complain. They tell you how to feel happy. How to improve your life. How to just be a different person than what you are. Well you know what? We wail. We cry. And then we think we can’t do this to anyone else, because everyone else just wants us to be happy. So the benefits? You get to be yourself. Be a wailer. We love it, we love you for it and we think others should, too.
