In a conversation with the contributor of this image, I said how I felt the message was left with the intention that the person it was intended for would know it was for them upon seeing it.
In other words: when you see something in the urban landscape, and you believe it was there just for you. While it could have been left just by anyone, it’s meaning speaks to you at that standstill in time — and for a moment, it’s universal message becomes personalized to you.
