I spent the past four years going to school and living in Philadelphia.
And while I’ve seen and done a lot of crazy things in the so-called ‘City of Brotherly Love’ - including driving but a shooting, having a friend find a bullet had gone through his window, my death prophesied by a homeless schizophrenic drunk woman on the subway (after calling me a racist devil), my car tires sliced, my friend slap a man to have him handcuffed later by police, and just witnessed the general antics that went on daily in Philadelphia.
This, however, I’d never seen, nor predicted.
First, Philadelphians tear down a street sign detailing Center City via a map.
Then they build a fire, set things on fire within the fire, and then proceed to jump over the fire.
Finally, I see two Philadelphians bring down a tree — with their bare hands.
Oh my — GO PHLILIES! World Series Champs 2008!
