AWKWARD: Because Perfection is Boring: Slydial

  1. It’s happened to all of us. We have to tell someone something a bit uncomfortable, a bit unsettling, a bit … awkward. We call them [because meeting in person is just too much effort for these words] and secretly hope they don’t answer. Ring #1, ring #2, ring #3 … by ring #4 you think you’re in the clear.

SHIT. At ring #4, they answer. You’re not in the clear. You’re going to have to break it to them … and they’re going to have to respond. Instantly. The pressure is intense.

Well, now you can do all of the above without holding your breath for the voicemail. Now, thanks to Slydial, you can make a call that leads directly TO voicemail, completely bypassing all ringing of the phone. No nervous counting of the rings, no stuttering or stammering when the person actually answers the phone and you realize that it’s now or never because saying you “accidentally” called them just isn’t going to work for the third time in a row.

Now you can prepare your thoughts, dial when ready and with Slydial, have the option to enter the person’s voicemail immediately. “Hi, you’ve reached [insert person’s name here] cell phone …” is like music to your ears. Upon the annoying operator’s reminder to leave a voicemail [seriously, that has to go someday] you can leave your awkward voicemail with the passe and confidence that would have been long missing had you actually spoke to the person directly on the phone.

Slydial alleviates the awkwardness in all of us. Except, when that person calls you back - that’s why your phone has the ignore button. Hit it, and hit it hard.
