Chances are, you probably already have a miracle product sitting right in your medicine cabinet — Vaseline! This multi-purpose tub o’ wonder does magic for eyes, lips, skin and hair. Simplify your beauty regimen and take advantage of Vaseline’s many uses — my favorites are listed here:
1. Lip gloss – It’s the balm! If your lips are in need of a slick coating, smooth on some Vaseline for a shiny look that also repairs chapped lips!
2. Sole softener – After a long day of walking or a night out in stilettos (both equally as tough on your feet), nothing soothes cracked heels quite like Vaseline and a pair of socks. Before bed, apply Vaseline to dry spots and break out those fuzzy slipper-socks. Your feet will be super soft in the morning.
3. Cuticle cure – Forget forking over $30 bucks for a mani/pedi when you can use Vaseline to soften your cuticles. Just dab a little on your nails each day to keep ‘em healthy.
4. Prolong your perfume – Before spritzing, rub some Vaseline where you normally spray perfume. You’ll smell delish throughout the day!
5. Magic makeup remover – Mom was right about taking your makeup off before bedtime. Slick on some Vaseline to remove your makeup and leave your skin feeling soft.
6. Dew I look OK? – Apply a dab of Vaseline to your cheekbones to give your face that ubiquitous dewy look. Just don’t be surprised if people stop you on the street and ask for a picture.
7. Eyelash envy – Misplace your mascara? Have no fear! When applied directly to eyelashes, Vaseline makes your eyes pop the same way mascara does.
8. Trés trendy tresses – Work a tiny amount of Vaseline through your hair to style it —buhbye, expensive salon gel!
9. Excellent exfoliator – Apply a coating of Vaseline to your lips, wait a few minutes, and then scrub your lips with a toothbrush — instant exfoliation!
10. Banish unruly brows – Who needs brow gel when a little bit of Vaseline applied to your eyebrows keeps them under control?
